Buy Ferrofluid in Bottle (1000ml) - Canada Only

Are you looking to make a Ferrofluid sculpture, do you need Ferrofluid to perform various scientific experiments? Don’t waste your time trying to figure out how to make Ferrofluid, it’s a very complex and messy process, You can now buy Ferrofluid in Canadian dollars! Note that we only sell Ferro fluid within Canada.

Ferrofluid is dark oily magnetic material with amazing properties. When an external magnetic field is applied to the Ferrofluid, the magnetic particles in the Ferrofluid orient themselves almost instantly to the magnetic field lines. This creates amazing spiky fractals and geometric forms that allow you to see the magnetic field of the magnet in 3 dimensions. When the magnetic field is removed, the Ferrofluid particles go back to their normal alignment very quickly.

PLEASE NOTE: Ferrofluid will evaporate when exposed to the open air. As the ferrofluid evaporates, the fluid loses some of its magnetic properties. Any sculptures created will lose their jagged edges. Also, please be sure to replace the bottle cap when not in use. This Ferrofluid is intended as a teaching tool or for amusement only, it should not be used in delicate loudspeaker applications.

WARNINGS: Ferrofluid can be very messy, you should wear gloves when handling Ferrofluid. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of accidental ingestion seek medical advice

Here is a mind-blowing ferrofluid sculpture, created by Japanese artists Sachiko Kodama and Yasushi Miyajima.

Dear Sir/Madam

I'd like to purchase a 1000ml bottle of Ferrofluid to conduct some experiments in a clear fluid medium, such as water. Or at least, the 2nd fluid medium should have a different specific gravity than the ferrofluid (and preferably be clear), as it is the difference in specific gravities that I need to investigate. Do the ferrofluid desk displays, such as the ferrofluid desk gadget, use water as the clear medium? Can I mix the ferrofluid from the 1000ml bottle with plain water and get it to behave in a similar fashion to the ferrofluid desk gadget?

If you could please let me know, I will definitely purchase a 1000ml bottle of Ferrofluid from your company within the next day.

All the best,

Mike Sutherland
